Ms. Boyd brings almost 30 years of professional work experience, including a 26 year career in the information technology sector, with 17 years focused on implementing and managing integrated teams for server-based computing environments; to include Virtual Desktops, Remote Desktop Services, secure Mobility, network encryption and multi-level Thin Client solutions. Ms. Boyd’s experience is comprised of management, implementation, and deployment of these information technology solutions supporting government organizations within the Intelligence and Defense Communities.

Implementing successful IT projects in large, complex enterprises requires expertise in change management and diligence communicating with customers while integrating engineers and support teams to delivery quality products.

Before joining Ortman Consulting as a founding member, Theresa worked as systems architect, senior enterprise engineer and systems engineer for several agencies – including the Department of Energy, Defense Intelligence Agency, and other groups in the Intelligence and DoD spaces. Theresa has been on the forefront of implementing cutting-edge solutions including some of the first virtualized desktop and application solutions in the Federal Government, server and client virtualization technologies, and more recently, supporting highly secure mobility solutions following NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) capability packages.
