Windows System Administrator

The role of a Windows Systems Administrator is to serve as the technical support for all system issues.   The position offers a unique opportunity for development of skills in leading technology to support program needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Security +
  • TS/SCI w/CI Poly (active)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as an escalation point for the Service Desk on incidents related to the Desktop solution
  • Works directly with Senior System Administrators, Vendors, and Engineers on improvements
  • Support processes to help with the reduction of incident outage times
  • Compliance with policies and procedures including DoD STIG requirements
  • Receive On‐the‐Job training from staff, as needed
  • Maintain documentation of all processes associated with administration of the technical solution
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements

Combination of 4+ years of experience in any of the following areas:

  • Active Directory
  • Hyper-V SCVMM (2012)
  • Microsoft Server (2012 R2 preferred)
  • Microsoft DHCP/DNS
  • Server SQL Database (2014 preferred)
  • PowerShell Scripting
  • Hand-on experience in cloud or virtual environments


  • Direct experience with Dell Hardware
  • Citrix XenDesktop 7
  • McAfee Next Generation Firewall
  • Knowledge of Dell Networking Appliances
  • 8570 compliant (Within 90 days of hire)
